Training with the real-world challenges in mind for insurance adjusters.
About 2021 Training
2021 Training was founded with one purpose in mind: to train new insurance adjusters in a way that would prepare them for the real-world challenges they would face, in a convenient online format. We wanted to make our courses accessible to everyone, regardless of their time or budget constraints.
Our founder, Dave, has been training insurance adjusters since 2008. Back then, online learning was still in its infancy, and there were no good options for those who wanted to obtain their insurance adjuster license online. To solve this problem, our founder decided to develop a new curriculum that brought real-world experience into the mix. 2021 Training was born.
About Our Instructors
Our founder, Dave, is also our primary instructor. He teaches every course except for the two ethics courses. Dave enjoys teaching new students, and feels it is important to maintain consistency throughout the learning process. That’s why students keep their same course instructor from beginning to end.
Dave started his career as an adjuster responding to Hurricane Sandy in 2012. He had been a trainer since 2008, but he wanted to get a real taste of what his students would be asked to do in the field. Since then, he has gone on multiple deployments and gained valuable experience that he shares with the students through his courses. He is highly regarded by both his former students and insurance adjuster firms.
Our instructors use humor, true stories, word pictures, slide shows, and other tools as they share tips and practical information to make your training more vivid and lively. You’ll be able to apply their lessons to make your work easier, more efficient and more profitable. With our training, you can be confident from your very first field job.
About Our Courses
Our Texas All-Lines licensing course is a 40-hour class as dictated by the state, consisting of 32 hours of online content and 8 hours of self-study homework. We have seen students complete the course in one long weekend. This is entirely possible to do, since it is modeled after a 3-day live class.
Our Texas Smart Start package is modeled after a 7-day live class consisting of a licensing class (3 days), Xactimate class (3 days), and practical adjusting (1 day). Many students take much longer than 7 days to complete these, but that only means they are using the online training for its intended purpose: to fit into their already busy schedules. Students have up to 90 days to complete their course, but we are always willing to extend this deadline whenever possible.
After your coursework is done, we administer the licensing exam that has been approved by the Texas Department of Insurance. With your certificate of completion, you will have everything you need to apply for your license through the State of Texas.
All licensed insurance adjusters in Texas are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years to keep their license up to date. We’ve got you covered. Our CE courses fully satisfy this requirement, and we report your completion to the state within two business days.
