Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) and Texas FAIR Plan Association (TFPA) have partnered with 2021Training.com as their exclusive provider for online adjuster certifications.
As an adjuster, you will need to have these certifications prior to adjusting any claims for TWIA and TFPA. Some are registered with the Texas Department of Insurance for CE credits. See specific course for individual CE information. These certifications renew annually. Your certification will be valid for one year from the date of completion.

2018 TWIA Commercial Field Adjuster Certification (1 hr)
No Texas CE Credit Hour
This certification is required to adjust Commercial and Complex claims for TWIA. Complex claims include multiple location losses and condos. This is an annual certification, and the online Residential Field Adjuster Certification is a pre-requisite for the Commercial Certification.
2018 TWIA / TFPA Desk Examiner Certification (4.5 hrs)
No Texas CE Credit Hours
This certification is required to adjust claims for TWIA and TFPA as a Desk Examiner. This is an annual certification. See a list of CAT companies contracted with TWIA/TFPA in the FAQs at the bottom of the screen.
Q Is this a webinar and where is the schedule?
A: All of our courses are online. This means you do not have to wait for someone else’s schedule. The class is available immediately after you purchase it. After you buy the class through the online store, you’ll be sent an email with your classroom log in information. You may begin your class whenever you choose.
Note: If you don’t receive your log in email within 15 minutes, check your spam folder. If it’s there, please mark 2021training.com as an approved sender so it doesn’t get caught in the spam folder again. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you haven’t received it within a reasonable time.
Q: Do I have to take the class all at once?
A: Since this is an online class, you can start and stop the class as many times as you want or need to. It can be done in one session, or it can be done over a longer period of time.
Q: How long will I have to complete the class?
A: You’ll have access to the classroom to complete the course for at least one month from date of purchase. Remember, the TWIA/TFPA certification is only a 4-hour class.
Q: Is this certification for a specific CAT company?
A: No. We have been selected by TWIA/TFPA to provide this training online for ALL of their CAT companies. At the end of the class, you will be asked to select the CAT company you’re associated with. If you are associated with multiple companies on the list, select the one who either recommended this certification to you, or the one you work with the most.
Q: How long will my certification last?
A: TWIA/TFPA certification is valid for 1 year from date of completion of your certification. If you finish this class on June 15, 2013, then your certification will be valid through June 14, 2014.
Q: Do I need to have a Texas Insurance Adjusters License to take this certification?
A: While you technically don’t need a Texas license in order to take the certification course, you will need the license to work TWIA/TFPA claims. ALL of TWIA’s and TFPA’s claims will be in Texas. If you need the Texas license, we suggest you add the Pre-Licensing course.

Q: What if I select one company, but get deployed by another to do TWIA/TFPA claims?
A: This isn’t a problem. You will log into the Portal and change your association to the new firm. This is all explained in the class.
Q: What if I am not associated with any of the listed companies?
A: You can still take the certification and select one of the listed companies. Then be sure to make application for that company to get on their roster.
Q: How do I access the TWIA/TFPA Student Portal to change my CAT company affiliate and reprint my TWIA/TFPA badge?
